Plain shaft stake with head welded on one end for a striking surface when driving into the ground.  Designed for securing the center ring of our 6, 8, and 10 dog gangs.  Use tension and drive-angle to get the most out of these for securing a center ring.  Pull center ring tight, adjacent to the mainline lay.  Drive in at an angle AWAY from the mainline.

23.75" HOT-rolled steel

3/4" round bar

unpainted (apply coat of spray paint occasionally if desired).  Bare steel will rust over time if left unpainted.

They work for holding tension

They work for holding tension, but active dogs jumping around pull it up over the nailhead stake and can then wander farther from the original line.

Hey Amelia,

Our nailhead stakes are actually designed for the center ring on our 6,8,and 10 dog mainlines. Some handlers do use them for anchoring the ends of their mainline, but the installation is difficult to get right and we don't recommend them for this. Shoot us an email and we'll gladly offer a discount on swivel stakes so you don't have to worry about the end ring slipping over your end anchors.

Perfect for on the go

Gang sets up quickly and easily. Makes airing dogs on road trips the easiest thing. I will not go on a trip without mine ever again. If you don’t want to set the entire rig up, you can use the drops clipped around your vehicle. I love that they detach.
