Our Custom Work Examples

Apart from our main product line, we also build custom setups to meet the needs of our customers.

Here are some examples of our custom work:

Cable gang for beagles. 4.5’ spacing between drop attachment points. 15” drops. Mainline and drops made from 1/8” cable coated to 3/16” with orange PVC.

“Spider rig” for dog walkers that walk multiple dogs at a time

This setup was custom built for a customer that has a dog walking business. We customized the lengths according to her height and the different sizes of the dogs she walks.

Standard drops vs permanently attached drops with rigging details. Our standard drops have a soft loop, and the permanent drops have thimbles in the loops and stainless steel swivels permanently fitted to the mainline.

Custom lengths are available for drops. We also make these dino-drops out of mainline cable. Customers with anchor points on dog trailers, stake-outs that have worn out chains, chain mainlines that need to replace or change the drop length on their current setup. These drops are built to last and we can install quick links (below) or S hooks to make changing a broken swivel snap very easy. We have made these dino-drops for customers from 15” to 10’.

We call this setup the ALL AGE BIG PERM! Its also offered in sizes to hold 2-10 dogs. The drops are permanently fitted along the mainline so the possibility of losing a drop is eliminated. They’re also stronger, because the working load of our stainless swivels is more than triple that of the brass swivel snaps. Some handlers prefer permanent to removable, and we accommodate them. This 4 dog ALL AGE BIG PERM pictured below is a very nice setup that was requested by a customer from Illinois.

The end that is attached to the dog’s collar, with thimble loop and brass swivel snap. We offer drops like this for our standard ALL AGE systems as an upgrade as well.

This customer wanted swivels fitted along the mainline as attachment points, but still wanted the drops to be removable. She also wanted the drops made out of mainline cable. The drop length and the attachment point spacing was reduced to give the mainline a smaller footprint. Drops were 21” and the drop spacing was 5’ for this custom rig.

We call this setup the MEGA ALL AGE BIG PERM! Drops are made from mainline cable and permanently fitted to the mainline with stainless swivels. Quick links were added on the brass snap end to make changing out snaps easy.

This 8 dog system was built with mainline cable for the drops and the customer wanted quick links on each end attaching the brass swivel snaps in the event that he needed to replace one.
